I thoroughly enjoyed this one and your examples. They made perfect sense with your explanation.

I’ve never been blessed with money, but God has blessed me in other ways that I’ve been able to use my talents to give to others.

Like you, there are certain people I don’t help. However, I believe God places those in my path who He truly wants me to help.

I saw two gentlemen and a dog who were skinny and dirty. I considered stopping, but I didn’t. Halfway home, God told me to go back. I did help them that day, and I left with a full heart, knowing that I had done exactly what God had asked me to do.

"As always" I do enjoy hearing your "rambles" and slightly different perspectives. The parable of the bags of gold has confused me for some time, but your explanation of "to the best of his abilities" (i.e. we get what we can handle) made good sense. Same with the helping of those less fortunate, or those who simply want a handout, not a hand up.

PS: I'm still working on my response to last week's episode about "judgement".

Have a great week.

Glad you are still hanging in there with me.

As far as last week's episode about judgement... hmm... it wasn't supposed to be about judgement. I meant it to be about how easy it is to start not caring about people and not loving people because of the evil all around us. Maybe take another listen or read the transcript. :)

Have a great week John. Thanks, as always, for stopping by and your support and encouragement.

My comment will make better sense once I finish writing my thoughts. It relates “judgement” to caring and loving people around us … at least I hope it’ll make better sense.
