Easy part first, the audio sounds good. I'll listen again with headphones later to see if I hear an anomalies. Change is hard, but sometimes it yields a new way of seeing, or hearing, things.

As to this week's chapter, yes, a lot is going on.

I think the challenge is to not focus on our "earthly treasures" as either the solution, or the problem. Meaning we don't have to live like John the Baptist to fulfill what Jesus wants from us. We simply need to be givers, not takers Builders not breakers. Shepards, not predators. And, we need to believe and follow Jesus, and not be distracted by shiny bobbles.

I thoroughly enjoyed today’s scripture reading. When you discussed the difficulty of the rich entering the kingdom of Heaven, my initial thought was of the greedy politicians.

If I were to acquire significant wealth, I would eliminate my debts, secure a permanent residence, support my children and grandchildren, and find ways to assist the community and those in need. However, I don’t desire it. I am humble and appreciate my life as it is. When I observe individuals who obsessively count their riches before bed, I express gratitude that God has blessed me with my current life.

Today’s recording sounded great on my end.
